We exist to get Christians into the work: to physically and spiritually minister to the poor of Mexico, in a way that changes the person who came to serve as much as the family who was served.
Vision
To stimulate the faith of Christians into action to physically and spiritually minister to the poor of Mexico, which will cause a mutual transformation in both the giver and the receiver.

To facilitate opportunities and provide resources for Christians to successfully minister to the poor, which will produce a lasting transformation.
What the weekends are for.
Build Love Missions
Churches, schools, businesses and families come to Baja and build a weatherproof house in a weekend for a family living in inadequate conditions. 3,008 so far.
One Million Disciples
Discipleship through Bibles and the Purple Book, begun with a group of 25 in El Niño and now a network of over 600,000 people reaching into mainland Mexico.
Project Little Child
The children at the El Niño campus, who host visiting teams for field days and VBS through the year.
Two lots, two weekends. One is footings and rebar with the neighbourhood already gathered. The other is the house that ends up on ground like it.
How we got here.
- 1984
Bob Sanders is called through Isaiah 6:8 and Isaiah 58 after seeing the need in Baja.
- 1991
BCM is birthed and incorporated as a nonprofit.
- 1992
Build Love Missions begins, to meet the housing crisis in Baja.
- 2000
The thousandth house is built, by partners from all over the world.
- 2007
One Million Disciples starts with a group of 25 in El Niño.
- 2013
One Million Disciples expands to mainland Mexico, in Hermosillo.
- 2015
The hundred thousandth Purple Book is completed.
The goals ahead are a million people evangelized and discipled in the Baja peninsula, ten thousand homes, churches and ministry projects, and ten thousand people praying.
What we hold to.
- Christ-centered
- Jesus is the model. He met physical and spiritual need together, and so do we.
- Relational
- Jesus cared about people as individuals. Teams are asked to laugh, eat, cry and listen, not only to build.
- Network building
- A net in the hands of many sweeps a nation. A single line does not.
- Mentorship
- Experienced teams bring new teams, and reproduce their impact for very little extra cost.
- Integrity
- From the handling of finances to the preaching of the gospel.
- Compassionate
- Churches in the US and Canada need Mexico as much as Mexico needs them.
